David has over 25 years Big 4 experience, including 10 years as a partner, in consulting to clients in a range of industries on IT audit, risk management, internal audit, corporate governance and external audit. In particular, he has been involved with some of the largest corporate and government internal audit assignments in Australia providing advice to management and boards of major Australian enterprises in both the private and public sector.
David is widely recognised as one of the most experienced Internal and IT Auditors in Adelaide and is one of the few holders of the Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor and Certified Governance in Enterprise IT accreditations.

The second event we would like to draw to your attention is the new Security Special Interest Group (SIG).
The SIG is co-branded with the Australian Computer Society and will take place every two months.

Guest presenter: Greg Mazzone, Director Integration - Cert Australia
Topic: Greg will be talking to us about the new arrangements for Computer Emergency Response in Australia. He will address the integration of some of the functions currently carried out by AusCERT and indeed about AusCERT's role moving forward.
Greg is a Director in CERT Australia. CERT Australia is part
of the Commonwealth Attorney-General's Department. Greg brings
a diverse perspective to CERT Australia, having tertiary qualifications
in; Chemistry, Information systems and Commerce. For the last
ten years he has been involved in a range of IT and IT Security
related reviews and audits. This has been in the Commonwealth,
State and local levels of government and in the private sector-
which included the manufacturing, financial, and business sectors.
Greg has been directly involved in the Commonwealth ICT security
space for 7 years, through involvement with various reviews and
updates to the PSM and IT Security Manual. He is a CISA - Certified
Information Systems Auditor, a CISSP -Certified Information Systems
Security Professional, and has been registered with the Defence
infoSec Registered Assessor Program- iRAP since its inception
in 2003.
